Abstract
I conducted research at Connecticut College through the Summer Science Research Institute in the summer of 2026. With a research partner and advisor, I participated in research on extremely low mass white dwarf stars in binary systems. The experience allowed me to garner knowledge and skills from previous coursework while also preparing me for my future coursework. Thanks to this research experience, I am considering graduate school for astrophysics and am looking forward to exploring more courses that may supplement that.
