Abstract

This internship provided an opportunity to experience the day-to-day environment of a restaurant and gain a better understanding of how different responsibilities come together to keep a business running. At Beans & Co., I was able to take orders, deliver food, observe the chefs, wash dishes, and help with cleaning. Overall, the internship helped me better understand restaurant operations, teamwork, and the work that happens behind the scenes. It also gave me a better idea of my own career interests and made me more interested in exploring the possibility of owning a bakery in the future.
