Abstract

I spent my summer doing research at The Matter Lab at the University of Toronto. My work consisted primarily of organic synthesis, although the project sits at the intersection of computational and experimental chemistry. I learned quite a bit from the experience, both about chemical techniques and the academic world. This experience was a wonderful entry into the post-graduate chemistry space and provided me with a sense of direction in my academics.
