Abstract

During the summer of 2026 I worked as an occupational therapy intern for Leading Therapy Home. I had the opportunity to shadow several pediatric occupational therapists and work directly with patients. My responsibilities included setting up and participating in gross and fine motor activities, helping at camp programs, and learning through observation. After completing this experience I have decided to apply for occupational therapy doctorate programs and continue my education towards becoming a practicing occupational therapist.
