Abstract

My time at the Pike County Historical Society allowed me to develop archival and exhibition-developing skills. At the Columns Museum -- run by the Pike County Historical Society -- I learned valuable skills regarding historic preservation which have helped me in looking to future career opportunities. This local historical society provided me with the opportunity to work alongside other employees and interns to research, write, and arrange a variety of displays within the museum.
