Abstract

This summer I worked as a water quality research intern with a non-profit called the Hudson Valley Stream Conservancy. I did daily water sampling, working around 40 hours a week. A personal vehicle was required to drive to each sampling site. I bought the samples to a lab where I needed to fill out lots of paperwork and put the results into excel. My job also included side projects with by boss like fixing up a boat and taking it out onto the water. He paid for my boat safety certification as well.
