Abstract

This paper outlines my experience working as a clinical intern at Courage Quest, a camp for children ages eight to thirteen with anxiety disorders. Drawing upon cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and principles, I worked alongside a team of interns to develop the camp curriculum and tailor exposure activities to help the camper's accomplish their goals and face their fears. This internship was an extremely valuable exercise in learning how to implement clinical skills and theory in real-time, while also adapting them to fit the needs of each unique individual.
