Abstract

During Summer 2024, I interned as an M&A Analyst at Worklyn Partners, a private equity firm in New York City specializing in the MSP and MSSP sectors. This opportunity allowed me to immerse myself in the intricacies of mergers and acquisitions, developing hands-on experience in deal sourcing, financial modeling, and due diligence. Working closely with senior professionals, I contributed to the evaluation of acquisition targets, assessed their financial health, and participated in portfolio company meetings. Through this internship, I solidified my interest in the technology and services sectors and developed new learning objectives, including further honing my financial analysis techniques and deepening my understanding of strategic post-acquisition integration. This transformative experience was made possible with support from the Hale Center for Career Development.
