Abstract
This paper delves into my summer experience working with the non-profit organization Sanctuary for Families, primarily at their transitional shelter Sarah Burke House. I describe my responsibilities as well the experience I had and relationships I formed. I speak on the emotional responsibility involved in this line of work and the difficulties that includes as well as the rewarding nature of non-profit work.
