Abstract

Each day there was a mix of appointment types, as well as patients. Some appointments were first time patients getting evaluations, some were follow-up appointments, while others were discharges. This allowed me to get a good feel for how a PTs day would be, and I got to understand the flow of their schedules quite well. For each appointment I would observe the goings on, as well as interact with the patient to get to them, their injury, and their treatment plan thus far.
