Abstract
This reflection paper explores my ten-week Wealth Management internship at Northern Trust in Chicago, IL. The internship combined hands-on tasks, professional development, and networking opportunities, allowing me to support portfolio advisors, conduct market research, and engage in client-focused projects. I also gained insight into the importance of mentorship as I regularly met with partners and senior leaders to expand my professional network. The internship helped me want to pursue a career in the financial services industry.
