Abstract
In the summer of 2026, I worked at Worthington Vineyards and Winery in Somers, Connecticut. I accomplished a variety of tasks in both the vineyard and winery. These tasks included creating pest management plans, testing the wine for different compounds, transporting the wine, bottling, filtering, pressing, and keeping the vineyard lanes tidy. This experience was very enlightening as a botany and biology major. After interning this field of work is an area I'm definitely interested in.
