Abstract
This piece explains the difficulties I had as a first time intern in a disorganized online environment and what I learned about myself as a result. I discuss how my views of digital storytelling changed over time. Overcoming obstacles, embracing uncertainty, and cherishing a unique educational experience are my key takeaways. I conclude by emphasizing the knowledge and confidence an internship experience provides a student to reevaluate their potential career path.
