Abstract

A summer spent as a studio art assistant at Art's Cool in Middleton Massachusetts. The role involved instructing and providing feedback to students ages pre-k to adult. Additional roles around the studio included studio upkeep, planning projects, prepping materials, and meeting the needs of students. Class sizes ranged from 8 to 28 students so the ability to be flexible and to multitask in a fast paced environment was essential. The culmination of the summer was to curate and install an all student exhibition at a local cafe.
