Abstract

This summer, I had the opportunity to take an online Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Course. Through this program, I developed foundational skills in areas such as infection prevention and control, clinical testing, laboratory/clinical procedures, patient care in clinical and long-term settings, and team-based medical communication. Furthermore, this CCMA course has complemented my academic coursework and further propelled me towards a future career as a CCMA and eventually a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C).
