Abstract

This summer I had the opportunity to work in Stan Chings inorganic chemistry lab. The experience grew my love for research in many different ways and over the course of the summer I learned so much about the process of preforming meaningful research. I learned about time management, organization, team building, and the overall trial and error of research. I also built new connections with other SSRI students and had a great summer on campus. The experience gave me a great understanding of the challenges and rewards of research and strengthened my interest in pursuing a career in the field.
