Abstract

This reflection explores my eight-week internship at Farm Cultural Park in Favara, Sicily, where I gained experience in a cultural organization through visitor engagement, exhibitions, events, and an independent architectural proposal. I reflect on how the experience strengthened my Italian communication skills, expanded my understanding of art and architecture's role in a community, and connected to my academic interests in cultural identity and Sicily's history. Through these experiences, I developed greater independence and confidence while gaining a deeper appreciation for the culture and community of this place.
